In loving memory of Edwin Elliott, a man of unwavering faith, a shrewd entrepreneur, and a beloved patriarch. Born on May 6, 1936, Edwin's journey through life was one marked with dedication, hard work, and a deep-rooted love for both his family and his country. Throughout his illustrious career, Edwin successfully managed an upholstery business alongside owning and operating Early Auto Sales, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and drive. A man of many talents, he was not only a successful businessman but also an avid fisherman who spent countless hours on his shrimp boat, finding solace and joy in the vast expanse of the open waters. When he wasn't out at sea, Edwin could often be found strumming his guitar, sharing his passion for music with those around him. His talents even afforded him the opportunity to play alongside legends like Willie Nelson. After a lifetime filled with achievements and cherished memories, Edwin Elliot left behind a legacy of love and resilience. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lupe Elliott, he is survived by his devoted children: Doylene & Danny Davis, Brenda & Raymond Edwards, Sandra & Larry Caperton, Dewayne & Misty Elliott, and Sam & Lori Elliott. While Linda Ferguson has passed on, her memory lives on in those who loved her. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love and guidance he provided throughout his life. As we gather to honor the life of Edwin Elliott, we invite all who knew him to join us for a public viewing at the Heritage Funeral Home - Davis Morris Chapel on May 30, 2024, at 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Davis Morris Chapel on May 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm, where we will come together to celebrate a life well-lived and bid farewell to a man who touched the hearts of many.
