Victor Maceyra, 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on October 25, 2023, in Lamesa, TX. Victor is survived by his 2 children. Daughter Crystal Rodriguez and her husband Julio. Son Victor Jr Maceyra and wife Tanya Paiste. Victor leaves behind 11 grandchildren. Abriana Rodriguez of Temple Daniel Rodriguez of Rosebud Illeana Rodriguez of Bryan Chloe Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez Brian Rodriguez all of Rosebud, Jacob Maceyra, Veda Maceyra and Anthony Walker of Harker Heights. Leah Paiste-Husok of Germany Kayla Paiste of Hawaii. Two Great-Grandchildren; Niyelie Rodriguez and Natalie Flores. Victor leaves behind 12 siblings Sister Geneva Montoya of MarbleFalls Ester Ibarra of Burnet, Laura Kubiak of Clifton Rose Mary Arce of Houston, Ana Arce of Waco, Debbie Hernandez of Kempner Sally Bailon of Lampasas, Janie Bailon of Austin, Brothers Rogelio Bailon of Lampasas, Ricky Maceyra of Lamesa, Robert Arce of Lometa, And Lupe Bailon of Houston. Victor also loved and cared for numerous nieces and nephews. Victor is preceded in death by his Mother Anita Matias Maceyra of Lampasas, a nephew Victor Di'Angelo Arce of Lampasas and two nieces Isabel Granado of Killeen and Mariah Bailon of Temple. Victor was born on Dec11,1958 in Lampasas, TX to Anita Maceyra. He attended Lampasas ISD. Victor married the Love of his life, Rose Mary Watts in 1982 . As a young man, he worked at Browns Feed Store. in 1989 Victor's life changed forever. He was in an accident that left him paralyzed. He never let that get in the way of raising his two children. Victor was an advocate for the rights of aging and disabled people. Victor never let his disability stop him from achieving his goals. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness In Lampasas. He will be remembered as a very strong willed, stubborn and EXTREMLY hard headed, yet kind hearted, and witty man, who loved his children and grandchildren beyond measure. He would gather attention and could command a crowd in any room. The Viewing and Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, November 3rd, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Heritage Funeral Home located at 401 N Key Ave in Lampasas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Victor Maceyra.
