Shane Morris

Shane Morris, 52, of Rochelle, Texas passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Brady, Texas. He was born in Big Spring, Texas to Nathan and Geneva (McCurdy) Morris on July 8, 1967. He married Laurie Campbell on December 15, 2014 in Brady, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of McCulloch County. He graduated from Rochelle High School. He enjoyed dove hunting, black labs, and being outdoors. Shane was a loving and caring person that would help anyone at any time. Shane is preceded in death by daughter, Rachel Garza; father, Nathan Morris; two grandchildren, Camary Garcia and Carter Garcia. Shane is survived by his wife, Laurie Morris; three sons, Michael Morris and wife Shaylene of Brady, Rex Skees and wife Nikki of Rochelle and Chris Skees of Brady; two daughters, Ashley Morris and Tara Jackson of Marble Falls; two brothers, Carl Morris and wife Linda of Rochelle and Scooter Morris; mother, Geneva Morris of Brady; numerous grandchildren and a lifelong friend Gary Gossett. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady with the Gaylon Morris, officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
