Patsy Faye Bailey

Patsy Faye (Street) Bailey passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Eden, Texas. She was born July 12, 1932 in Ballinger, Texas to Curtis and Etoile Street. She married Sonny Bailey on July 30, 1951 and they enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. Pat worked as a teacher's aide for several years and she and Sonny worked at West Texas Boys Ranch for 4 ½ years. She treasured every moment of that experience; she loved to inspire and educate children in school and out of school. Pat helped raise money for the Grape Creek Education Foundation. She enjoyed arts and crafts, but the most important to her was her children and grandchildren. Her last few years were overshadowed by her struggle with Alzheimer's. However, despite her memory loss, she continued to live fully and was able to find joy every moment and will greatly be missed. Survivors include her husband Sonny Bailey of Eden, daughters; Judy Hutyra of Fort Worth, Sue Christopher and husband Rod of Eden, and Kim Killion and husband Ferrell of West Fork, Arkansas, one son; Brent Bailey of Arizona, 8 grandchildren; Shawn Cason, Layne Buck, Brandon Buck, Jordon Hutyra, Heather Hutyra, Craig Harguess, Cade Harguess, T.J Cox. and 8 great grandchildren; Brentney Cason, Carmen Cason, Steven Samuel Cason, Lilly Hutyra, Avery Buck, Addison Buck, Aiden Buck, Elijah Harguess, 1 brother Bill Street and wife Janet of Coleman, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, 2 very close friends Pat and Raygen Nixon. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law James Hutyra and one brother Jimmy Street Services will be at Heritage Funeral Home in Menard, Texas, Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
