Gwendolyn Inez Gooch

Gwendolyn Gooch, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Brownwood. She was born in Mineral Wells, Texas to Leroy and Ora Mae (Hannah) Bevers on February 12, 1943. Gwendolyn married Johnny A. Gooch on April 2, 1966 in Suitland, Maryland. Gwendolyn lived in Brown County since 1974. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She was a member of Dorcus SS Class, and Red Cross Volunteer. She owned Possum hollow Ceramics Business. She was a loving wife, mon, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a quilter, loved to travel especially overseas (Italy), dominoes, and strong in her faith. Gwendolyn is preceded in death by her parents. Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, Johnny A. Gooch of Brownwood, son, Johnny Wade Gooch of Brownwood, daughter, Kemberly Wilshire and husband of Plano, brother, Roy Duane Bevers and wife Jo of Tulsa, Oklahoma, six grandchildren, Collette, Kerryne, John, David, Joshua, and Victoria, ten great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Davis Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.
