Crecencio Canales
August 14, 1963 - August 30, 2021
Cresencio "Chris" Canales Aldava went to be with His Lord and Savious Jesus Christ at 58 years old on August 31, 2021, after a work-related accident in Melvin, Texas. Chris was born on October 14, 1963, in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico to Miguel and Juliana Canales. He was a very friendly person, very helpful and ready to lend a hand whether he was compensated or not. He was a servant to all. Chris worked at Joe Johnson's ranch building fences and whatever needed to be done. He also helped build several houses for Nandin Construction. He also cut and sold firewood and was always working hard. Chris migrated from Ciudad Acuna, Mexico at a very young age. He became a permanent resident of the United States of America. He was a single man and never spoke of having a family. He only said, "I am doing better here." Chris had many friends in Brady and McCulloch County. He spoke very highly of some and enjoyed spending time with them. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Julianna Canales. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady with Fernando Nandine, Sr., Pastor of Divine Redeemer Church officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady. Please view Mr. Aldava's online memorial at www.heritagefuneralhomes.com
