Albert Valdez Solis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Albert Valdez Solis, 78, of Garland, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 in Garland. He was born in Brady, Texas to Nieves and Angelina (Valdez) Solis on March 21, 1942. Albert was a welder for most of his career. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Albert enjoyed fishing, bird watching, studying maps, and watching his pecan trees grow in his backyard. He was a very humble, hardworking, and loved his grandchildren. Albert is preceded in death by his parents. Albert is survived by four sons, Anselmo, Christopher, Robert, and Thomas Solis all from Dallas, Texas, two daughters, Carmen Luna and husband Augustin of Dallas, Texas, and Yolanda Vera and husband Frank of Dallas, Texas, three brothers, Sylvester, Marcos, and Seferino Solis all from Brady, four sisters, Fidelia Olivarez of Brady, Mary Torrez of Brady, Toni Flores of Bangs, Elizabeth Solis of Abilene, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Rosary will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home of Brady. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Church service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady with the Father Terry Brenon officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven in Brady. Pallbearers will be Daniel Luna, Anthony Solis, Andrew Solis, David Solis, Steven Solis, Jacob Vera, Exceqiel Moreno, Daniel Martinez. Honorary Pallbearer: Ritesh Sharma Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
