Glen Otis Ratliff

Glen O. Ratliff, 81, passed away at his ranch on July 10, 2024. Glen was born on April 12, 1943, in San Angelo to Fadie F. and Inez Maxine Quirl Ratliff. He was raised in Zephyr and attended Zephyr ISD. Glen was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy, Texas. Glen joined the U.S. Army in January 1961 and served in the Vietnam War. After proudly serving his country, Glen was employed by Phillips Driscopipe, Holley Chevrolet, the State School and the Santa Fe Railway. In retirement, Glen followed his passion as a full-time rancher. Glen was a Mason and served as Past Master of the Zephyr Masonic Lodge and the Indian Creek Masonic Lodge. He also was the Past District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM District 76), Past Worthy Patron of Santa Anna O.E.S. and the 32 Degree Scottish Rite Knight Commander Court of Honor (K.C.C.H.) He is survived by his loving wife Rosa Linda Ratliff; brothers, Gaylin Ratliff and wife Edda, Arch Ratliff and wife Susan; and brother-in-law Eugene Johnson. Glen is also survived by his sons; Bobby Ratliff and wife Shannon and Jerome Bryant, and his daughter, Andrea Havlak and husband Bruce; his grandchildren, Glen R. Ratliff, Travis Ratliff, Aimee Ratliff and husband Zach Lloyd, Gavin and Jaidan Ratliff, John Havlak, Ethan Havlak and Keely Schmidt. In addition, Glen is survived by his honorary grandchildren; Conrad, Kenny and Elijah Massey; his great-grandchildren, Sophia, Isaac, Kaden and Kasel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Glen is preceded in death by his parents Fadie and Inez Ratliff, his sisters, Edna Ratliff Johnson and Iva Joy Ratliff and his son, Garrison B. Ratliff. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Davis Morris - Heritage Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Zion Cemetery in Priddy, Texas with Pastor Mark Schimmel officiating. Pallbearers will be Gavin Ratliff, John Havlak, Ethan Havlak, Conrad Massey, Kenny Massey, Bobby Ratliff and Bruce Havlak. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gaylin Ratliff, Arch Ratliff, Eugene Johnson, Jerome Bryant, Bobby Ratliff and Bruce Havlak. Glen will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all who knew him.
