Bryant Jernigan

Bryant Wade Jernigan was born April 5, 1958 in Baird Texas to Luther "Bud" and Bobbie Jernigan. On February 9th 2022 Bryant went home to be with his Lord. We can only assume that at this point the Lord has heard every outlandish fishing story that he ever experienced with his wife, kids, grandkids, son in laws, sisters, brothers, and any other stranger he quickly cornered to laugh with on the bank. Bryant was blessed with the love of his life Debbie for 45 years. They met in high school and were inseparable. Together they have raised 9 children and were blessed with 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Bryant and Debbie were married June 4, 1976 and relocated to the Brownwood area in the early 80s. Bryant was what you would call a jack of all trades. From trucking, plumbing, construction, electrical, welding, master fisherman (or so he thought), to instructor on how to fix anything with duct tape or wd40. He finally settled in as the loud mouth man behind the clippers, with a laugh that was as big as he was, at The Hair Station. Where he and Debbie were the owner/operators for 25 years. It was there that many knew him and came to love him. It was those that knew him and loved him that he has spent countless hours giving his testimony to and telling of his love for the Lord. His friends and family find comfort during this difficult time knowing that he has achieved his final goal of sitting next to his Lord and Savior and will be anxiously waiting to talk your ear off about his time there when we meet again. Bryant is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Alisha Whitehead and husband Allan, daughter Casey Moore and husband Sean, daughter Mary Lucier and husband Josh, son Ryan Jernigan and wife Jeannie, son Travis Jernigan and wife Kiley, daughter Tasha Jernigan, daughter Kinzi Jernigan and husband Jason, son Joshuah Jernigan, daughter Anna Jernigan and fiancé Timothy. Grandkids Paige Jaramillo and husband Adrian Travis Moore and wife Emily, Maddysson Whitehead and fiancé Jeremiah, Taylor Moore and fiancé Parker, Ryleigh Lucier, Lundon Lucier, Kyler Lucier, Evelyn Jernigan, Maverick Jernigan, Michael Wallace, Gracelynn Wallace, and Legend Bryant Wade Jernigan-Brown. Great grandkid Bentley Moore. Sister Petty Harris and husband James. Brother Larry Jernigan and wife Connie. Brother David Jernigan and countless cousins,nieces, nephews, and friends. Bryant was proceeded in death by his father Luther Bud Jernigan and mother Bobbie Jernigan. Sister Barbee Howell and sister Angela Jernigan. Service will be held at Haven of Hope Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM
