In Loving Memory of Billie Myers Trigg Billie, affectionately known as "Granny," passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024, in Brady, Texas, at the age of 88. She was born on September 16, 1935, in Lamesa, Texas. She was a long-time resident of Melvin and Brady, Texas. Billie dedicated a significant portion of her life to serving others both in her work and fierce love of her family. She enjoyed a long career with Central Texas Opportunities, later in life, she found joy in Senior companionship/care while also working at the Senior Citizens Center in Brady, where her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact. She is preceded in death by her mother, Leeta Duncan, her four brothers, Roy, Tommy, Dean and Gerald Duncan, and her aunt, Mary Child, and granddaughter Cassie DeArmon. Billie is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra DeArmon, of Melvin, and her cherished grandson (who she raised), Michael Adams, along with his wife, Brenda of San Angelo, and Cousin Anne Child of Tennessee. Her legacy lives on through Brenda and Michael's children, her great-granddaughter, Breelyn and great-grandson, Brayden. Billie's greatest joys in life were found in the simple pleasures. She was often found sitting on the porch, contentedly watching traffic pass by. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her family, especially her great grandkids, whom she adored. Known for her sarcastic humor, she made quite an impression on the staff and residents at Brady West and befriended many during her stay. In honoring her memory, let us remember her for the warmth she brought to the lives of those around her, and her strong desire to provide for and protect her family. May she go to the Lord in Heaven and rest in eternal peace surrounded by the love and memories she created throughout her remarkable life. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday March 11, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady, Texas, followed immediately by a family Graveside Service in Melvin, Texas.
