Loretta Ann Jacoby

Loretta Ann (Weter) Jacoby, 57, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 24, 2022. She went peacefully, surrounded by some of her favorite things and people. She was born on September 19, 1964 in Newton, Iowa. Her family and loved ones were the most important things to her. She married her soul mate, Rocky Jacoby, on November 25, 1998 in Clark, Nevada. She loved equally her four children, and twelve grandchildren. She was an example of a Proverbs 31 woman: a true wife and mother of noble character. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Oakland "Okie" and Catherine Weter; brother, Keith Weter; sister, Betty (Dennis) O'Neal; and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Raybion. She is survived by her husband, Rocky Jacoby; daughter, Vickie Raybion (Bryan); son, Billy Raybion; daughter, Tiffany Raybion (Chris); and daughter, Kirsti Jacoby (Matthew); her brothers, Tom (Patty) Weter and Bill (Dee) Weter; and sister, Kathy (Doug) Gulling. Surviving grandchildren are: Landin, Kyla, Shelby, Jazmine, Jayde, Jace, Matt, Josh, Aniya, Jacoby, Asher, and Marshall. Pallbearers will be Billy Raybion, Landin Bennetsen, Bradd Raybion, Brentt Raybion, Jason Young, Shane Swenson, Brandon Raybion and Shawn Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mitch Raybion, Dan Raybion, Blake Raybion, Lucas Raybion, DanDan Jacoby, Mark Jacoby, Dustin Land, Bryan Henken and Scott Black. Loretta's family and friends will gather at the Heritage Funeral Home, 300 N. Bridge St. in Brady, Texas for visitation on Friday, July 1 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 2 at 1:00 PM in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Her celebration of life will be held at Brentt and Cayce Raybion's residence: 1003 W. Victoria St. in Brady, TX. In lieu of flowers, celebration donations in Loretta's honor may be made to the American Heart Association. To know Loretta, or Aunt Retta as she was called by many, was to love her, or fear her. She was a force to be reckoned with. As she would say "I may be small, but I can still kick your.......!"
