Virginia Felan

February 28, 1953 - September 22, 2021

Virginia Felan, 68, of Lampasas, Texas died on September 22, 2021, at Advent Health Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Virginia was born on February 28, 1953, in Seguin, Texas to Ramon Banda and Maria Sophia Vasquez. She was a home maker for her and her family and loved to spend her time shopping, and watching her grandkids play football. Virginia loved her family, cooking, crafting as well as her Lord & Savior. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Lampasas and loved serving there. Virginia married her husband Rafiel Felan on December 24, 1970, and enjoyed a wonderful 50 years of marriage together with unforgettable memories. Virginia is survived by her husband, Rafiel Felan of Lampasas, four sons, Rafiel Felan, Jr., and wife Trisha of Lampasas, Bobby Cruz and wife Brittney of Brownwood, Tommy Felan of Lometa, Joey Garcia and wife Stacy of Austin, three daughters, Linda Yenney and husband Tommy of Brownwood, Toni Felan of Gatesville, and Carmen Felan of Rosebud. Her brothers Valentin Banda and Julian Banda, both of Lometa and sisters, Josie Torrez, Louisa Garcia, Minerva Cruz all three of Lometa, Delia Castro of Stephenville and Dominga Garcia of Comanche. Her grandchildren, Maria Flores, Zachary Felan, Jorge Vasquez, Leticia Vasquez, Javier Felan, Gina Juarez, Tim Juarez, Frank Flores, Saydie Felan and her 8 great-grandchildren. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ramon Banda Jr, one sister, Felipa Medrano and a nephew, David Garcia. There will be a rosary service for Mrs. Felan on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with a graveside service the following day on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM at Lometa City Cemetery.
