Sharon Anne Maloney

January 21, 1952 - February 10, 2022

Sharon Anne Maloney, 70, of Preble, New York, passed away on February 10, 2022, Killeen, Texas. Sharon had come to Texas to escape the cold New York winter. Sharon had previously lived her entire life in New York, born on January 21, 1952, in Auburn, New York to Lawrence Isbell and Ruth Brewer Isbell. A 1971 graduate of Cicero North Syracuse High School, Sharon quickly grew her family and later attended Onandaga Community College where she studied respiratory therapy, a skill she later brought to her career in home healthcare. Sharon was a crafter by nature and an avid crocheter and loved to make blankets, hats and mittens and gift them to local charitable organizations. Sharon is remembered as a creator and a collector. Sharon is survived by five children: Christopher (Tracie) Maloney of Lafayette, NY; Tabhitha (Make Wade) of Tully, NY; Paul (Heather) Maloney of Marcellus, NY; Laura Maloney of Otisco, NY and Cassandra (Randy) Merritt of Kempner, TX and a sister Lisa (Ernie) Allen of Marcellus, N.Y. Sharon was very blessed by her pride and joy, her 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and one great-grandchild on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Timothy Maloney, brother, Terry Isbell and the father of her children, Michael Maloney. There are on services I Texas planned for Sharon, however, there will be a memorial service at a later date, in New York. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas, Texas.
