Richard (Dickie) David Hemingway, 68, of Brady, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Brady. He was born in Midland, Texas to Richard M. and Anita Jean (Gage) Hemingway on December 31, 1951. He was a resident of McCulloch County for thirteen years. Richard attended Rochelle Baptist Church. He was a mechanic for many years. He retired from Walmart after working there for six years. He was a simple man that enjoyed working on cars, and riding motorcycles Richard is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gregory Jordan. Richard is survived by one son, Wes Hemingway and wife Kindra of Bandera, Texas, one daughter, Stefanie Solomon and husband Justin of Bandera, Texas, one brother, Kerry Gilmore of Rockport, Texas, two sisters, Jeanangayle Behrens and husband Jackie of Brady, Texas, and Janabeth Hanson and husband Charles of Brady, Texas, four grandchildren, Jocelynn, Jadelynn, Stella, Holten. Church service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Brady with the Pastor Jeff Quattlebaun officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
