October 6, 1944 - July 29, 2021
Patricia (Pat) Jane Littlefield Dannheim passed away on July 29, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born on October 6, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas. Pat developed a love of music at an early age, taking piano lessons, and performing in many recitals and with the school choir. A talented musician, she joined the Lake View High School Marching Band, adding the guitar and drums to her instrument list. Pat eventually added the organ and played at Lake View Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, and finally at Adamsville Baptist Church. She sang Alto and Soprano and was accomplished at yodeling. She was a regular on The Businessmen’s Bible Class radio program LIVE and the Sunday morning Bible Class where she sang and played piano accompaniment in a trio with her friends, May Clark Hartman and Dawn Moorehead Street. Pat was also athletic and played on the Girls Varsity Basketball Team in high school. She graduated from Lake View High School with the class of 1963 and went on to San Angelo Junior College where she continued to perform in the Choral Music Program. She participated in the musical performance of ”Kiss Me Kate” cast in the role of Bianca. She was awarded a scholarship to study music at McMurray College. Pat taught piano lessons to many students and sang in church choirs, sang many special music offerings in worship, played and sang for weddings, family events, and funerals over her lifetime. Pat married Noel Dannheim on September 3, 1965 and became an instant mom to their children Neal and Jan. A few years later they welcomed a daughter, Desta. Pat had experienced taking care of her siblings, Wiley, DeeAnn and Barbara growing up and the experience served her well. She enjoyed being a mom and raising her family. She loved being a wife and mother but she took more joy in being a grandmother and great grandmother. She was called “Gandma” and later “Rabbit Granny” by the babies. A secretary for many years for different attorneys’ offices, she still enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables and making preserves from fruit. She loved to work with her hands, sewing, tatting, knitting and crocheting. Pat enjoyed going to the lake. In her early years Concho Lake was where she would water ski, fish and camp. In later years, the family met at Lake Proctor and made so many memories there, i.e., camping trips, fish fries, water skiing, fishing, running trotlines, riding in the boat, swimming, playing 42 or 80 dominos, and occasionally a volleyball game. She is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Dorothy Grosshans, her mother and father-in-law Harvey and Emma Dannheim, Granddaughter Stephane Morgan and aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. She is survived by her husband Noel Dannheim of Adamsville, TX; son Neal Dannheim and wife June of Adamsville, TX; daughter Jan Lawrence and husband Don of Fort Worth, TX: daughter Desta Crooks and husband Clay of Tennyson, TX; granddaughters Amber Drennan and husband Daniel of Abilene TX, Lacy Orsak of Clyde, TX, Tracey Goodrum of West Palm Beach Florida, Ashley Harris of Ft.
