Lynda Dianne Valdez

February 3, 1968 - June 6, 2022

On June 6, 2022, heavens gates opened to welcome another angel, Lynda Dianne Valdez. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 9 , 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba Texas. Although Lynda will be missed, her family and friends, her loved ones find solace that she has made her way to paradise. Lynda was born in San Saba Texas to Clarence and Helen Skaggs on February 13, 1968. Lynda's biggest passion was family. She deeply loved her grandchildren, and they loved her equally, if not more. Lynda was known as an awesome cook and really enjoyed cooking Mexican meals for the family and when possible attending BBQ'S with the family every chance she could. One of her other enjoyments was to take back road rides listening to old country and old rock and roll music. Lynda could not stand snakes so every time she would come across one, she would break out in a dance. Lynda was a big fan of the Coyote Football team. Lynda never met a stranger, she loved talking and meeting new people. After talking to her awhile she would know you like she's known you all her life. Lynda's life left an amazing legacy in her family and friends. She will live long through each and every one of them. Lynda is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Helen Skaggs. Three sisters Sherry Skaggs, Amanda Skaggs, and Elizabeth Woodward. She is survived by her husband Reymundo Valdez of Richland Springs Texas, and six sons Benjamin Shaffer of Richland Springs Texas, Jose Valdez of Stephenville Texas, Mario Valdez of Richland Springs Texas, Reymundo Valdez Jr. of Richland Springs Texas, Santiago Valdez of San Saba Texas, Arron Bumgardner of Iowa. Three daughters Antonia Valdez of San Saba Texas, Nancy Valdez of San Saba Texas, Heather Valdez of Oklahoma. Two brothers Tommy Skaggs of Richland Springs Texas, David Woodward of San Saba Texas. One sister Sarah Skaggs of Richland Springs Texas, and eighteen grandchildren.
