Lylithed Grace Birge

April 15, 1942 - March 10, 2022

Lylithed Grace (Barefoot) Birge of San Saba passed away peacefully in Abilene, Texas on March 10, 2022. Lylithed was born in Lometa, Texas to Birdine and Nettie Barefoot on April 15, 1942. She married Robert Allen birge April 5, 1974, in Globe, Arizona. Lylithed was a devoted christian woman. She could quote the Bible from front to back, and it was a big enjoyment of hers to teach children how to read and understand what they were reading in the Bible. Her children were so well disciplined that the people that attended the church she went to called her Supermom because the license plate on her 1979 Trans-Am read "Supermom". Lylithed enjoyed gardening, canning, and quilting. She really enjoyed all kind of flowers, but her favorite flower of them all was the Sterling Silver Rose, which can only be found in Arizona. She really enjoyed listening to country, rock and roll oldies, and gospel music and really loved to dance. In her younger years, Lylithed loved roller skating. She loved the Christmas Holidays and would bake so many goodies that she would have to start right after Thanksgiving, but her biggest passion in life was spending as much time as possible with her family. Lylithed will greatly be missed by all who knew her. Lylithed was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie May Lusty and Birdine B. Barefoot; husband, Robert A. Birge; seven brothers, M.J. Barefoot, L.B. Barefoot, F.H. Barefoot, W.R. Barefoot, Lemuel Barefoot, Billie Ward Barefoot, and Ray Dean Barefoot. Three sisters, O.G. Barefoot, V.D. Barefoot and Mary Barber; and one grandson, Jason Brandt Reisner. She is survived by one sister Leola Hamrick of San Saba Texas ; Five sons and two daughters, Terry Allen Reisner of San Angelo, Texas, Robert Troy Birge of Kerrville, Texas, Jerry and wife Dana Reisner of Winters, Texas, Brian and wife Roseanna Birge of Lawrence, Kansas, Larry and wife Tami Reisner of San Angelo, Texas, Shauna Birge of Sweden, and Tonya Birge Villicana of Flagstaff, Arizona; twenty grandsons, David Reisner, Brendon Reisner, Ryan Davis, TJ Garcia, Tommy Garcia, Zachery Greenwood, Christopher Reisner, Nicholas Reisner, Nathaniel Reisner, Robby Birge, Nick Birge, Brian Birge, Jacob Allen, and seven grandsons in Sweden; six granddaughters, Tera Reisner, Tiffany Birge, Teresa Birge, Kaylee Birge, and Tamara Mathis, and Isabella Birge; and thirty-three great-grandchildren with two on the way.
