Jimmie "Teeny" Wayne Long, Jr, age 61, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in San Angelo, Texas. Jimmie was born on July 8, 1960 in San Francisco, California to Jimmie Wayne Long, Sr. and JoAnn (Dorgan) Long. He had been a resident of McCulloch County for five years. He worked for Heart of Texas Carpet Cleaning. Jimmie had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and make people laugh, but he could take a joke too. He loved everything about antique cars and was knowledgeable about all makes and models of them. He was also a self-taught mechanic and loved Elvis. He married Carla Garrett on April 3, 2021, and although they weren't married long they shared a lot of love and laughter during that time, and he was a loving and caring husband. He was loved by everyone and will be missed dearly. Jimmie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Wayne Long, Sr. Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother JoAnn Long; his loving wife Carla Long; two sons, Tommy Long and Tony Long; two brothers, Michael Long and wife Valarie, and Thomas Long and wife Carla; one sister, Sam Nutt; two grandchildren; several extended family and numerous friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Brady. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
