Jacob Anthony Escobedo

Jacob Anthony Escobedo, age 19, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2021. Jacob was born on August 13, 2002, to Arturo Castillo and Leandra Marie Escobedo in Brownwood Texas. He grew up in Brady, Texas and graduated from Brady High School in May 2020. Left behind to cherish his memory are his mom, Leandra Escobedo, Maternal Grandfather Elpidio "Bill" Soto, Maternal Grandmother Petra Hernandez, brothers Isaac Soto, Alejandro Escobedo III, sister Samantha Reyes of Brady, and sister Samantha Castillo as well as many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Josefina "Josie" Soto and his father Arturo Castillo. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home of Brady. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Lohn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ashton Corona, Dylan Mendez, TJ Mendez, Michael Neal, Francisco Sandoval, and Ernie Maldonado.
