Gwendolyn Griffin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gwendolyn E. Griffin, 75, of Lampasas, Texas passed away on October 2, 2021, in Lampasas, Texas. She had been a resident of Lampasas for the past 25 years, having lived in Killeen and Austin prior to that. She was born on July 21, 1946, in Austin, Texas to Clarence Wayne Hickman and Marguerte Webb Hickman. She married Cliff Griffin in May of 1996 at the Lampasas County Courthouse. Gwendolyn was a homemaker, she loved quilting, reading, and listening to music. Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, Cliff Griffin of Lampasas, three sons, John Morgan, Dean Morgan and wife Juanita of Lampasas, and Shawn Fry and wife Erica of Dallas, one daughter, Jean Morgan of Lampasas and one sister Glenda Thomas of Kyle, Texas. She is blessed by grandchildren, Jennifer Pace, Brandon Morgan, Patricia Chavez, Lucas Fry, Caleb Fry, Monique Clary, Cheyenne Reed, Marcus Reed, Tyler Morgan, and John Morgan. Her great grandchildren are Matthew and Gabriel Pace, Izzy and Jazzy Clary, James McManus, Jacklyn Loth and Thomas Alexander, III. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sheila Montemurro, two brothers, Weldon Rascoe and Kenneth Hickman, three sisters, Evelyn Rascoe, Annie Pearl Hickman, and Myrtle Schubert, and by two previous spouses, Jess Fry and John Hardy Morgan and by one grandchild, Heather Morgan. There will be a family visitation on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas. There will be a procession following the visitation to the Alexander Family Cemetery for the burial with Dr. Kirby officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas.
