Fredrick Ware

November 30, 1945 - September 17, 2021

Fredrick Thomas Ware, 75, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2021 after fighting congestive heart failure and Alzheimer's. He was at his ranch located in Brady surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Fred was born to Elmer and Rose Johnson on November 30, 1945 in Houston, Texas. He attended Lutheran School as a child and remained a devout Lutheran throughout his life. Fred reached a milestone of Master Plumber and served in the Plumber's Local Union 68 for 50 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing his whole life and passed that passion down to his son who has passed it on to his family. Fred married Sharry in 1995 and they moved to Brady in 2008. They opened up J&G Plumbing in 2008 until they retired in 2016. They just celebrated 26 years together. Everyone knew Fred the plumber! Fred loved the Lord and he loved his beer and was not afraid to tell you. Some of Fred's favorite sayings were "Herd That", "Whatever", "Believe Me", "It's a typical Hill country buck" and "Where's Sharry". These would always make us laugh and probably always will. Fred leaves behind his wife Sharry, his son Chris Ware and his wife, Sylvia, his daughter Shellie Logan and her husband, Tim, Kevin Grabher and his wife, Sam, Karen Grabher and her husband, Keith, his 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, his brother, George Johnson and his wife, Lynette, his brother-in-law, Billy Diehl, along with several nieces and nephews. Fred also leaves behind some dear friends Steve and Zana Broad, Jo Kelly Rutherford, and David Snider. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Rose, his daughter, Tammy Sayers, his daughter, Reynae Yaws and his brother, Harold Johnson. Pallbearers for the graveside service was Steve Broad, Jeff Kasper, Tyler Shupak, David Snider, Billy Diehl and Jerry Hunt. The family would like to thank Solaris Hospice Care of Brady for the amazing care they gave in this past month. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 in Rest Haven Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
