E W Frost

April 18, 1927 - June 4, 2021

E W Frost went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021. E W was born to Claude Edward Frost and Eula LaVada Amarine Frost on November 18, 1927, at home, in Waldrip, Texas. He attended school in Lohn Texas. and graduated there. E W served in the United States Navy during WWII. After the war, he returned to his home at Waldrip, Texas. While working as a lineman for the telephone company in Tahoka, he met the love of his life Clara Pauline Hill (Polly). They were married on November 11, 1948. He was a barber in Brady, Texas, and worked at that profession on the square in Brady until his retirement. He and Polly moved to the Frost Family Farm in Waldrip, Texas. During his younger years, he was active as a high school football and basketball referee in many of the local communities surrounding Brady. E W was a lifelong supporter of the Lohn School District and spent many volunteer hours supporting the school. E W is survived by his daughter Denise Vaudine Frost Matlock, her husband Mark. Granddaughters Stephanie Matlock. Kristin Matlock and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Polly, a son James Otis Frost and his four siblings, Brother, Dot, Pill and Pickie. Pallbearers are Claude Lee Frost, Lee Allen Fisher, George Wesley Frost, Larry Dale Fisher, Victor Roy Lohn, Richard Bivens and Edward Wesley Frost. Services for E W were held at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, at 10:00 AM with burial following at Marion Cemetery, Lohn, Texas.
