Alexander Roque Jr.
February 2, 1970 - January 7, 2021
Alexander Roque Jr. “Junior”, 50, of Brady, Texas left us to be with the Lord on January 7, 2021. Junior was born February 2, 1970, in Brady. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather. He grew up alongside his three siblings, surrounded by his loving family in Brady. From there he graduated as a member of the class of 1988. Following graduation, he moved on to complete basic training the next summer. He would serve his country in the National Guard for six years. During this time, he would earn his associate degree in nursing in 1991, then later receiving his RN degree in 1997. Junior would then go on to marry the mother of his two daughters. His nursing career would extend from the Austin and surrounding areas all the way back to his hometown. He would then settle back in Brady, where he would complete his nursing career. Junior was a deeply devoted and loving father. He enjoyed spending his free time with his daughters and granddaughter. As a man who found himself helping everybody and anybody he could, he found a lifelong passion to help when the moment struck. Some of his enjoyments stretched wide and varied from reading and construction, to making others laugh, and lifting a person up who was in need. He never met a stranger. He will dearly be missed by all of those who had the opportunity to know him and be loved by him. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
