A'Lik Isiah Wilson

July 6, 2006 - March 24, 2022

A’Lik Isiah Wilson, 15, of Copperas Cove, Texas left this world all too soon on March 24, 2022, in Killeen, Texas. A’Lik was born on July 6, 2006, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Cedric Credit and Tonya Deshaun Wilson. After living in Prairieville, Louisiana until the third grade, he then moved to Colorado until the age of twelve, then moving to Copperas Cove to start middle school. While in school in Colorado, he was active at the Food Bank and was part of a Student Mentor Program. In Texas, A’Lik was a member of the Botanical Club and played for the UAA Basketball Team. He was part of the Safety Team, providing security at the Unity Baptist Church in Copperas Cove where he was a member. A’Lik was a jokester, he was energetic, joyous, and always had a positive attitude. He loved basketball and dogs. A’Lik was one that could light up the room and warm your heart with his bright, infectious smile. A’Lik is survived by his father, Cedric Credit of Gonzales, Louisiana and mother, Tonya Deshaun Wilson of Killeen, Texas, siblings, Raylauren Baptiste, Alexia Coco, Kyrie, Kelis and Kedrick Bassett and Sed’ja Credit, and his devoted uncle and aunt, Tyronne and Donna Wilson of Copperas Cove his maternal grandmother, Loula May Wilson and paternal grandparents, Franklin and Anita McGahee. He is survived by numerous other loving relatives. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Isaih Wilson, III. There will be a funeral for A’Lik at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Unity Baptist Church in Copperas Cove with Pastor Richard Lewis officiating. On Saturday, April 9, 2022, there will be a funeral for A’Lik at Hambrick’s Family Mortuary in Gonzales, Louisiana with burial to follow at a cemetery to be determined. Texas arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas and Louisiana services are entrusted to Hambrick’s Family Mortuary in Gonzales, Louisiana.
